Just bought my 2008 Ram 1500 Laramie and I'm in love! A few days after buying her, a mysterious warning chime sounded but no warning lamp came on. Figured it was a fluke. However, it kept happening. I noticed that it would happen around the same spot on my way to work. I timed it to be after about 20 minutes of continuous driving. It chimes once or twice, then nothing. Any ideas?

 

We had this same type of problem with the early minivans, it ended up being a door ajar switch. But I believe the ajar switches are part of the latch assy. if you have access to a DRB3 you can look at the switch when driving.
