where can i find a block plate

Default where can i find a block plate

i have a 2002 4.7 where can i find a block plate i’ve looked and couldn’t find none

a block plate you know the plate between the transmission and the block

There are three things I think you might mean. There is a cover that keeps road dirt out of the lower transmission. It's a transmission shield. Now, depending on if you have a manual or automatic transmission, it depends on which you need. If you have a manual transmission, you have a flywheel. If an automatic, you need a flex plate. You can get the flywheel or flex plate (the torque converter bolts to it and it has a ring for the starter) at parts stores, Ebay an a bunch of other places. The cover you can get from the bone yard or dealer.
