Default Can I.O.D be the issue?

Hi,

I own a 2008 ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. Recently noticed key fob won’t lock or unlock the truck, radio not working, power windows & lock and chiming when door is open are all nonfunctional. NO FUSE message on dash. The truck does start!

When the key is in the ON position, the needles for the speedo and tach jump up and down with a clicking noise for a few seconds(see video). I made the video doing the cluster reset but you can see and hear the clicking issue. I have checked all the fuses under the hood and all are good.

is there any other fuses in the cab of the truck? Where can I locate the IOD fuse?

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

IOD fuse should be in the fuse block inside the truck. On the older trucks, it has a little cover on it, so it doesn't look like a fuse.....

Video isn't showing. Don't think you can upload them here. Put it up someplace like youtube, and then just link to it here.

when you say inside the truck you mean left of the steering wheel under the dash? I know there is panels on driver and passenger side that can be removed. I removed both side and didn’t see anything other than the wiring for the light switch assembly.

thanks for the heads up about posting videos. I will attempt linking it at a later date.

Not as familiar with the third gens as I should be. I don't know if there actually IS a fuse block inside the truck......
