So i have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 5.7 Quad cad, had the OEM 17 inch rims , i purchased 18 inch rims from someone who had a 2016 Ram 2500, the rims and tire fit fine , but i can not figure out why the 8 lug ram center caps dont fit , i had to use the old 2003 lugs to fit on the studs as 2016 lugs didnt fit, but it seems the lugs are not the issue any help before i go nuts the cap slides on but does not get flush and is loose

 

Lugs are probably a different diameter, so the caps don't fit snug.

 

Finding out lugs nuts are not long enough just need some help now in finding out how long they should be my guess would be 1.58 inches

 

Anyone know how long the lug nuts to a 2016 dodge ram 2500 with the chrome 18 rims and center caps, if i can get that i ll try to find the size in lenght to fit my 2003 ram 2500
