Im putting a new wiper motor on my dodge ram 1500 and i have a 4 wire connector and the motor has a 5 wire connector im looking for the wire color codes on the wire pin there are 1 brown with orange stripe 1 brown with white stipe 1 black with white stripe and 1 brown with gray stripe the 5 pin connector has 1 red with yellow stripe 1 brown with white strip 1 black with blue strip 1 solid green and 1 black with green stripe my question is i pulled the the 5 pin female connector from the junkyard how would i go about wireing it to the 4 pin thats currently on my truck?

 

I think it would be better to get the correct motor for your truck......

 

I checked every autoparts store and nobody had it or i would have..i just used a multimeter its working as it should well for now atleast..

 

FYI. Rockauto has 4 pin motors.
