Default 2003 Dodge Ram Dash Indicator Lamps Come On

I'm having some probable electrical problems with my dash indicator lamps coming on intermittently. The Brake lamp and the ABS lamps light up intermittently. While driving they sometimes come on and stay on for 10 minutes and it then goes off for half an hour then comes on again. It does this consistently. I did a scan for trouble codes and I did not pick up any codes. Any suggestions? Thank you, Tommy.

Most likey you have an ABS wiring issue or sensor issue. Start with checking the wiring/sensor on the rear axle. Then move to the front hub sensors. Scanners don't always read abs codes, make sure you have an ABS level scanner. I cant remember if 03 still uses the KelseyHayes abs module like the 2nd gens but that one is a bugger to get hooked to. I usually end up needing a snapon modus or similar style scanner

I assume you are talking about the 4 sensors at the 4 wheels that monitor the wheel speed. I'll check it out. Thank you for your support, Tommy.

If you have 4 wheel ABS, then you will have a sensor in each front wheel, and a third sensor on the differential. Many trucks come with just the rear wheel anti-lock and only have the sensor on the diff. Rear sensor is located on the front of the diff, driver's side.

I'll check on this. I'll post my findings when ever I can get to this. I'm 73 years old so it won't be today. Thanks for your support, Tommy.

I finally got to check on my ABS system. I used my SPX OTC Genisys Scanner. Using this scanner I picked up a Code 21 (Right Front Sensor Circuit Failure). So, it appears that my Right Front Wheel Sensor or wiring is bad. I will need my Son to help me with this. I'll post my findings later. Thank you, Tommy.
