Honda ridgeline wins M/T Truck of year over ram..
I got my Motor Trend magazine today and was in disbelief.. I thought for sure we were going to get truck of the year again.. BUT.. Some way some how a front wheel drive v6, just about useless bed, UGLY, unibody and four door el camino comes and snatches it up.. I dont think it should be considered a truck unless you can hook a snow plow up to it.. but thats just me... If it wanst for the top speed shoot outs and dodge viper articles i would cancel my subscription. Trucks are made to be rough with shudders and and jolts not prance around like a little girl with flowers in the "truck bed"....Way to go Motor Trend... Picked a real womens truck.. No offence to women... lol . You would have to be one big pu$$ of a man to own one of those.. oh no dont scratch my "truck bed"......................... HEMI'S 4 LIFE
Just another anti-American car rag magazine. They are right up there with Consumer Reports. Let's take the Ram vs. the Ridgeline in a head to head collision and see who walks away without spilling their coffee. I would say the Ram wins.
Just shows to go ya, the yuppies have even invaded the truck domain too. Next time, pass the Motor turd magazine and find something REAL to read. I wonder how much M/T charged them to get the award????
I have lost most respect for auto mags for thier obviously very biased opinions. For example in a recent article I read, the article compared the new Charger to a Mustang GT and Pontiac GTO. Not exactly apples to apples here. Want to do 4 door RWD sport sedans or sports coupes? Which ones guys? A more likely comparo would be against an under 35K RWD 4dr sedan (but I guess there isn't much to compare is thier?)
Oh yeah, MT wouldn't know a REAL truck if it b**** slapped them up side their heads while in 4wd axle deep in mud. Sorry for the language, but man they are complete idiots in choosing the "half-ton" Honda.

I don't believe that there is another unibody structured truck on the market. Even the Colorado/Canyon, Frontier, Tacoma are all body on frame trucks. The way they should be...
