Before anyone gets bent out of shape at the title ... I have , now for the third time in 2 weeks, the check engine light go on. Take mine to Meadowbrook Dodge in Rochester. Twice before, Oxygen sensors replace. First time replaced upstream sensor, 2 days later light again and replaced downstream sensor. Now 1 week later, light on again. Anybody with any thoughts other than change dealers?
8000 miles. Mango Orange, Quad Cab with Hemi. Long tube headers with cats, cold air induction, automatic, doesn't get punched hard, use 89 octane gas, regular oil & filter 3000 miles.
Thanks.

Ok your first problem is taking your truck to Meadowbrook Dodge. I HATE MEADOWBROOK, they have a bunch of jokers working there. If you want good service, take it to Oakland Dodge across from Oakland Mall. Oakland is the best Dodge Dealer in the metro Detroit area. Trust me, I have had 3 trucks from Oakland, I used to go to Meadowbrook. Don't take is to Milosh either. You will get top notch service from Oakland. TRUST ME!!!!

Thanks for comments about Meadowbrook Dodge. This should serve as a warning for ANYONE looking for a Dodge, stay away from Meadowbrook.
No pictures of headers, were factory install at purchase as was Ram air. I did everything at purchase so covered under extended warranty, even bed cover.

Seriously, you cannot come on here and start bashing your truck and calling it junk. No one made you mod your truck but you. If you don’t want the occasional compatibility problem with aftermarket parts you better stop modding.. I understand it was all factory installed but they are still aftermarket parts..
Actually dud ... or dudette -
The headers and Ram Air are not aftermarket parts. Everyone is genuine MOPAR. Everyone was recommended by the MOPAR performance division, as a friend works in Auburn Hills and knows Dave, the head of the division. I purposely stayed away from anything that wasn't performance approved by MOPAR specifically for the 5.7 Hemi. The chip was not touched as that was strongly recommended against by MOPAR performance.
Now lets see, three trips to the dealer for the same repair problem. I think that meets the requirements, according to the law in the State of Michigan, of a lemon, either the vehicle or the dealer.
And oh yeah, thanks for the suggestions for "help". Individuals like you give forums the bad rep many have. Fortunately here on the Dodge Forum, the vast majority of the comments and suggestions are very helpful. But then ... there's are always a few ...
And no, my truck isn't junk but that sure got your attention didn't it. The dealers service department might be junk and I may need to find a department such as the one the other helpful individual here recommended, but neither the truck nor the parts are junk.
Thanks to those of you who offered helpful advice.

I am having the same problem on my stock 2005 Hemi with 3k miles. It is now in the shop for the second time (here in L.A.) for the engine light. The tech is ordering a new "prom?"; however, he thinks it's the gas (I have been using 87). Many in these forums use 87 with no problem... It runs totally fine--so hopefully the part replacement and the use of 89 will help!
