Default noisy AC compressor

2002 Ram 1500 SLT 2wd auto

-AC compressor makes alot of noise. i been trying to figure out why the engine stalled a couple times i'm wondering if the compressor is seizing.
is there a way to squirt some oils down in there or something? nevermind im sure the answer is no.
can i just remove the compressor? this would require a shorter serpentine belt right?
has idea been tested ad which belt do i need?

please suggest workarounds?

Is it noisy when the compressor is engaged? Or just when it's not? If the latter, you can replace just the clutch on the compressor. Likely cheaper than the whole compressor.

Take off the belt and spin everything by hand. See what feels dry.
