Default Need some help with shocks...

I'm going to be hauling a new travel trailer and I'm not sure which type of shocks to install to beef up the rear end of my 2006 1500 Megacab. I think because the truck is literally Frankenstein's monster (1500 badge on 2500 suspension /axels set on a 3500 frame all this straight from the factory) it should hold it but I don't know. Any ideas? The trailer has a dry hitch weight of 1,210 pounds and a GVWR of 10,460

From what I am reading, your truck only has a tow rating of a max of 7800 lbs...... If that's correct, you can't legally pull that trailer with your truck..... IS that correct??

After a lot of research in the last two days, I did find that the transmission is the weak link in this equation.
