3rd brake light not working. Could this be the cause?

Its the way they manufacture the harnesses... most trucks get the same harness from the base of the windshield to their origins... then when they put the headliner on, there multiple harnesses that match the features. I did find that eventhough I took the harness that ran the overhead computer, the origin harness was still missing a wire or two to make it go.

I don't quite understand. It's okay that there are less wires leading into the connector than leaving it? That's how the manufacturer makes it? Also I just learned a misspoke. My cargo light works. It's my inside dome light that does not.

Yes its totally normal on a lower optioned truck. So, I had the dome light not working also - they clipped the wire from the door latch so the dome light wouldn't kick on when they opened the door. Pull the lower kick panel, see if there is a severed wire in there.
