Default ? on supercharger for hemi??

This has probably been addressed many times, just wondering who makes a good supercharger for 2006 Hemi. I ordered a 2006 dodge power wagon, should be in in a couple of weeks. or are there any more performace products that will work instead of the supercharger. THis is my first dodge truck.

GS Motorsport's makes a Hemi supercharger. Here's the link http://www.gsmotorsports.com/Merchan..._Code=HMIRAMSC

Comp Cam's makes three different kinds of cam's. Here's a link http://www.compcams.com/

This should get you started.

The supercharger will almost certainly not work... the programming was not setup for MDS... Camshafts will be fine so long as you get one mild enough that it will not require engine reprogramming.

The 2500/3500s don't have MDS it's only on the 1500s so the supercharger will work on those trucks, not that the MDS actually works on the Ram since it's so heavy and shaped like a brick. All of Comp's Cams should work without a programmer, they were designed to be used with OBD II

Kenne Bell still doesn't have a release date on their Hemi Supercharger, and their are only 2 kits known to exist and both are on trucks owned by Kenne Bell, Kenne Bell's personal Ram, and the development truck

Well, I'm positive it's not easy... I would have a professional install it. That cost $$$, but it's worth it.

Get the new issue of Mopar Muscle. There are three different cam's for the 5.7L Hemi. Each one is for a certain purpose and give different hp. The middle one and top one require a PCM flash. The smaller one should be fine without the PCM flash.

comp cams says that even the small one may require a tune in 04 and later hemis... the 03 has a better learn function.

cams are pointless on a truck ..unlessyou are setting up to drag race on the weekends!!!

lets see why...

cams will give you hp at a certain rpm only....the aggressive the cam...the higher rpm the hp comes in at....try 5k rpms for the most part.....how many of you are CONSTANTLY flooring your hemi???? so you arent going to feel squat.....and you will LOSE power on the bottom end...

any aggressive cam is bad for a 4x4 truck esp if you plan on towing and need as much torque as you can get down low.

for 1k for the cams and probably another 600-700 for the install......and about 10-12hp???? why bother!

stick with intake, exhaust, and headers. when you get into internals...now you are getting into territory whereas its not worth the time or money because unless you plan to go all the way and do heads, cams, bore, programming, etc etc....why bother.

are any of you planning on racing a Cobra at the track or something?
