07 Ram1500 4.7l rough/bumpy idle
I'm gonna spare you guys on what has actually transpired over the last year and a half with my truck. Fast forward CEL off and smog test passed. Tags paid for, it's legit now. Runs better than ever, thanks again to @Hey You for the o2 sensor suggestion. However, at 650 rpm I'm getting a slight bobble when I'm in drive and stopped or parked in idle.
Sir, you're a God send. Thank you for your time.
Just to recap:
4.7l Jasper (3k) truck has 302k
New EGR ✔️
New MAP ✔️
New PCM ✔️
New Spark Plugs ( ::whispers under breath:: bosch double iridium)✔️
New Ignition Coils ✔️
New DENSO o2 sensors ✔️ (Thank you kind Sir)
New Vapor Canister ✔️
New Catalytic Converter ✔️
...and a partridge in a pear tree...
Also my kids spilled a bunch of water on my Amp in the back seat and fried my back passenger speaker.
ALL NEW AC components (upon request of my mechanic per anything that would come in contact with the new engine due to debris or metal shavings) about a year and a half old....blowing only the "nicest" hot air.
I just want to stop the bleeding.

That was good.
Get rid of those bosch plugs, just install some good ol' standard copper plugs. Reset the pcm, (just disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, or leave it disconnected while you change the plugs....) and retest.
What would the copper plugs do that the iridium plugs don't? Owners manual says to use platinum but iridium supposed to last longer and provide more "power".
From everything I have seen, the rare-earth plugs just don't get along with the electronics on these motors. You wend up with mystery misses, etc. I *think* on the engines with two plugs per cylinder, one plug is platinum, and the other is just standard copper? (platinum fellers being the ones that are hardest to change....)
The plug that best ignites the mixture, will provide the most power. Copper, being the best conductor, will provide the best quality spark. The only benefit to iridium is that you can leave them in longer but they will not perform as well.

Interesting, makes sense about copper being a better conductor. Just so I'm clear, are you saying it's ok to have two different types of plugs? The 4.7l Jasper has 8 sparkplugs, the two in the back would be the most "difficult" to remove. Would I be ok to keep those in and just change the remaining front six? Or would it be better just to swap all 8 and have them typical?

Try cleaning your throttle body and IAC valve. Lots of things can cause this including failing engine mounts. Just saying...

The throttle body is definitely cleaned put, no carbon build up or dirt. Air filter is fine, the IAC will have to get cleaned I'm guessing. I'll probably do that before I switch out my brand new spark plugs. What's best when cleaning out those types of components? I do have throttle body cleaner.
