Default Noise found!?

I have a 2004 single cab HEMI,i have had a clunking noise when hitting bumps or pot holes since the truck was new, well,i found the culpret! Yesterday i rotated my tires, and on the drivers front side,i found a set of Snap-on metric allen wrenches wedged by the bumpstop.I found this to be a rather odd option on my truck.Anybody else have odd noises?I could use a set of metric ratchet wrenches if anybody finds a set!! The truck has never been to the dealer,so i guess they were left in the truck during assembly.

Your dealer does do a new vehicle prep, which may have been the source of the allen wrenches. As for the factory, they would not have had snap-on, or had a set of them for that matter. Did you get a HEMI® Sport or RumbleBee®? [want to make sure I don't make those DCX lawyers angry by not showing the trademarks ] If so, the facility which installed your add-on equipment may have lost it.

Mine has always clunked/popped when going over speedbumps too. No foreign objects here though...Just sounds like swaybar or bumpstop touching, or shock not being long enough. I found some loose bolts hanging around behind my inner fenders when I did the header install though. [&:]

Dang. I got to shop around more. The most I have ever found is a pair of safety glasses under the battery in a Jeep I bought......
