The security alarm on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 truck will not turn on off. I have tried pressing the panic button, using the key to lock and unlock the door (several times), using the unlock button, putting the key in the ignition, starting the truck and even driving. I have done this with both factory key/key fobs. The only thing that seems to turn off the alarm is waiting the 3 minutes until the honking stops.

Any suggestions?

 

Try unlocking the passenger door a couple times..... (with the key)

 

Thanks, but there is no spot for a key to unlock the door on the passenger side, just on the driver's side.

 

So much for that thought........
