I have a 2004.5 Dodge Ram 3500 Extended Cab. It is in really nice shape and I would like to upgrade the old interior bulbs to LED. I have done some research but I get conflicting bulb numbers for the replacement bulbs.

Dome = 578 Festoon (1 bulb)
Map = 192 (2 bulbs) I have also seen 212-2 (2 bulbs)
Vanity Mirrors = ?? (4 bulbs)
Glove Box = 194 (1 bulb)

Will replacing these bulbs give me any issues because the LEDs will draw much less power than the current bulbs? Or I am I safe to replace these with LEDs? Any other assistance on the best methods to pull the old bulbs and replace is welcome.

I replaced my interior lights with LEDs. I get a constant light glow from one of the map bulbs and the overhead light.
There is a constant voltage in the lighting system that detects lamp out. Not enough voltage to illuminate an incandescent bulb, but will light up an LED.

 

Thanks. I guess I will just leave the old bulbs in there. That would bother me.
