Default Piece of rtv fell into rear end

Hey guys I just changed out the rear end fluid on my 03 Ram with the anti-spin rear differential. There was rtv covering a hole and i accidentally pushed it in and it fell in this hole pictured. The piece of rtv was the size of that hole. Is this a big deal or what should i do? I already put it back together. Instead of rtv i bought a paper gasket so if i have to take it back apart then i hope this one is reusable.
im more concerned with that rtv piece though...thanks for reading

Don't worry about it. If it gets into things that move, it's pretty soft, so, won't cause any damage.

Paper gaskets aren't re-usable. They make some really nice Viton gaskets that are though, but, considering that you aren't in the rear end very often, I am thinkin' the paper fellers are likely more cost-effective.

Agree with the above, I know its to late now, and maybe its just the picture lighting but what is up with that group of ring gear teeth just left of the cross shaft in the carrier, looks like really metallic oil

If you're talking about this hole:

Then you don't need to worry, those holes are for the case spreader tool.
