2007 Ram Hemi fuel pump voltage issue
My truck just died one morning as I was warming it up. And since then it will turn over but not start. I have already replaced the TIPM thinking that the fuel pump relay was bad because I was only getting 10 volts at the fuel pump. After replacing the TIPM still no start and still only getting 10 volts at the pump. When I turn in the ignition I don’t hear the fuel pump turning on. I cleaned up the ground wire for the TIPM and gained half a volt at the pump.
Is less than 11 volts at the fuel pump enough to power the pump?
Is my wiring just shot and I have to track down a bad ground?
Or should I just replace the fuel pump and hope and prayer?
PS my wife is getting tired of driving me around and need to fix this quick before I’m in more trouble.
