Default brush guard

has anyone installed one of these on their ram with the sport appearance package?

here is a pic of my truck....do you have to cut that black plastic piece out to get it to go in there or just trim it? also can you mount tow hooks on the same mounting bolts? I have to drive through alot of tall grass and I would like my bumper to not get torn all to hell, I will also be going with bedlinered rocker panels.

Default RE: brush guard

The black plastic piece just unscrews. There are like 4 of the plastic body screws holding it in. I imagine that if you install that brush guard it will use the mounting holes the tow hooks would normaly use. You could though, buy some tow hooks from like Northern or Summit and bolt them onto the guard near where it bolts to the frame.
