I don't know the answer to your question, but my advice skip the short wires.
I am pretty sure you will get 2300 codes for not having the plugs firing.

Are you getting those codes after defeating the waste spark design?

Rotating the plugs is essentially useless, they all see a firing event at the same time. Some trucks are more sensitive than others to different shorty wires, but I can tell you that in 2006 they redesigned the coils and eliminated the crossover wires if that tells you anything about the effectiveness of their waste spark system. It's a popular upgrade to swap to the new style coils, which, is basically like running shorty's.

So Mopar still wants to fire two plugs per cylinder.

My 'thrift' would be to remove all the plugs, clean up and gap the best 8 and use those for the waste spark under the wires... heck if they don't work on the exhaust stroke perfectly, then I suppose the cat has to eat a mouse.

Then put a set of new Champion 570's under the coils for ignition, drive 30k and repeat.

For anyone interested I just got a set of 16 570's for $47 on Amazon (AUG023 dollars) less than $3ea delivered Prime

Amazon Amazon

Yes I should have just done the 06 swap, I figured for the initial price and I actually liked the look of the shorty wires.
You have to be careful with Plugs from Amazon and Ebay there have been a lot of fakes.

Now that my eyes are "opened"...
I am wondering if some basturd is selling counterfeit Champion copper sparks?
I am all about a good deal but I really only want quality parts on my airplane truck...
What is this world coming to.... this is going to suck!

I had purchased 4 NGK plugs from EBay and they were iridium style, they lasted less then 10,000 miles. I started to research and Fakes are a big problem.
