Tail lights not working
People behind me the other night were flashing their headlights at me while behind me. I pulled over and saw my taillights were not working. I bought two new bulbs and checked them after checking the fuses. Bulbs are good and fuses are good. What should I check next?

I’m not sure about the pigtail, but I have one plug that goes and connects to the tailight assembly and I’m guessing supplies power to all bulbs in it. I also noticed the yellow lights on the front aren’t working either. I bought new fuses today and I’m going to replace the fuses that appeared to look good when I checked to to make sure that they are good.
Sometimes the circuit board in the engine compartment fuse panel (IPM) corrodes and wipes out a trace. My 04 1500 had that same problem with the tail lights, I took the IPM apart and soldered a wire to complete the trace. There are videos on youtube that show how to get the IPM apart, not that hard.
Here is the thread where I fixed mine.

Ok thanks, I’ll take a look. It may take me a few days as I’m recuperating from a lung biopsy and still sore as hell. Checking the bulbs and fuses wasnt to bad on me other than the excessive heat wave. Maybe I can get my son to try that fix for me, but I sure need them fixed.
