Question brake line fittings dont fit?

hi everyone, im working on my brake lines for a 2005 dodge ram 1500 4wd/4wabs laramie quad cab 5.7l. i am a bit stuck i ordered a brake line kit from ss tubes, https://www.sstubes.com/products/wkt...-kit-stainless
i have got the 2 lines that run from the master cylinder to the abs put in no problem but now trying to fit in the 3 lines that go from the abs to the brake junction blocks is a problem.

i believe the company supplied incorrect fittings on their lines or something is wrong with my threads (doubtful) i purchased a brand new brake hose for the driver side that comes with the new 3 blocks .

does anyone know what size fitting this truck takes for the 3 lines going from the abs to the brake hose junction? i believe 1 is 12x1 another is 10x1 but the third in the middle i cant tell neither fittings will work on it. the fittings going into the block is the same maybe? i have it down to the brake hose is a 12x1 the brakes leading to the rear is a 10x1 but the center one for the passenger brake i cant tell. i have a brake fitting key kit that i can measure it and the 12x1 and 10x1 work great, the center one does not i picked up a standard size of 7/16-24 and the fitting screws halfway fine then begins to bind in the junction. the strange part is that 7/16-24 fitting screws in perfectly fine into the key for its size and only about halfway into the junction but the key will not fit at all into the junction?!?!

first and last time i use SStubes literally 3 of the fittings are completely incorrect they put 12x1 on all 3 fittings going into the junction blocks. i will just cut the lines at the flares and swap out the fittings i really just need to know what size the center fitting is on the abs and the brake hose junction blocks.

forgot to mention the abs ones use a bubble flare while the junctions use a inverted flare.

I followed the link to the company and they said in their sales pitch:

All lines come Pre-Bent and flared with the correct threaded fittings which reduces your install time tremendously.

Did you ask them why you might be having trouble?
Please return and let us know what you find out and especially how the company remediates you issue.

I would consider replacing mine with this SS kit if it works out...

Where did you source this new hose from? Perhaps it is not the right component...
This where you are running into incorrect threads?

Absolutely the components should hand thread all the way until you torque the final compression.

i purchased it from napa looks identical to the old one and the old fittings go in no issues. the strange thing is though is that the old fitting are the same size but the new ones bind it makes no sense to me. i cant reuse the old stuff considering the rust is pretty bad on it and i live in NY. i got the fittings figured out besides this center one on the abs pump and line going into the brake hose union block.

I think that was the same company I bought a kit for my 2000 2500. Mine fit ok, except they didn't get the rear lines that run along the axles to the brake cylinders correct. I sent them the old ones and they just matched them. I'd just send them your originals, after you talk with them about sending it to them. They made it right for me w/o added cost.

ok i got it all hooked up i believe the middle one on the block is a m11x1 so it goes m12x1 m11x1 and m10x1 the middle abs pump fitting i just reused from the old line since it was luckily the only one that wasnt corroded. they resent a whole front end kit but forgot the middle abs pump one XD. thanks everyone for the help.

So they did TRY to make it right by sending a duplicate kit BUT it still didn't have the needed (defective) part?
So you still have an original steel part on the brake system you were trying to replace with all SS lines because they corroded away...

I suppose I appreciate their attempt (and disappointment) for what it is worth... If I were them, I'd stop holding you up, research the fault, correct it without inconveniencing you further, and FedEx you the correct missing component asap... I get from your story that they are likely going to continue on about their business, People make mistakes. Cest la Vie

BTW, thank you for your report back. It is why this may be helpful to the Dodge RAM community, Hopefully the next guy will read this and ask them if they figured it out BEFORE they get into the same situation with them.

Too bad you didn't buy a NEW replacement steel part that fit correctly, posted the part number, and also sent them the p/n so they 'had in their hands' what it should be.

Still. thank you junak. Great Thread!

Has it all.... A beginning, a middle, and most important, an ending...
