2008 Dodge Ram 1500 180,000 miles electronic 4x4 hubs.
Has anyone had an issue with the electronic 4x4 hubs locking and unlocking when using the key fob to unlock the doors or randomly when the key is on?

Interesting, how did you notice that was happening?
(I am new to Ram [about a month with my rwd 5.7] just curious about all the workings of these vehicles, like a sponge)

 

posting for my girlfriend we have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4D 4WD 5.7 hemi she bought after market tail lights head lights and third break light all from amazon everything works as it should but the only problem is that the third break light there are 2 dim white/clear lights that are lit while the truck is off and all the switches are turned off ex: headlights int lights and all ext lights but the 2 dim white lights are om, on the third break light how do I make them turn off?

 

If it's LED, then that's not abnormal. When I changed the third brake light to an LED one, there were a couple of LEDs that were dimly lit so I went back to the old one.

 

It is LED and she didn’t drive it over the weekend and killed her battery would those lights being on be the cause of it?

 

LEDs don't draw that much power, but when prolonged they still can kill a battery.
