Default Oxygen Sensor location

2002 Ram 1500 2WD 4.7L Automatic
Having trouble locating/determining exactly where Bank 1 and Bank 2 02 sensors are. Found one set (upstream/downstream) passenger side front area. Everything online says that there should be at least a bank 2 (another upstream/downstream). One source said bank 1 would be on the left underneath the crank shaft pulley but there aren't any there. As far as I can tell I only have one set of o2 sensors (one upstream and downstream). I've never had exhaust work done either so everything under there should be what the manufacturer laid out. All I want to know is if my truck only has a bank 1, or if there should be another one. I suppose I should note I don't know much about auto repair, so I may have misunderstood and possibly bank 1 and 2 is just another way of saying upstream/downstream, instead of it meaning another set of the two.

Real possibility you only have the two. Four sensors was likely california emissions.

My Dakota has the 4.7L and only two oxygen sensors. My guess is, if you have only one tailpipe, then the banks are combined and only use two sensors.

Correct. EV is the engine code for the 4.7. As you see from the partsman, there are differences between the Fed & CA emissions.
