Engine swap issues
I have recently swapped a 4.7 from a 2005 Durango into my 2002 ram 1500, all connections and pumps fit together no problem, but it’s a crank no start. I’ve replaced cam and crank positioning sensors and there’s no sign of it being a timing issue. Last thing I can think of is it being a computer issue, which I know nothing about. Do I need to flash or reprogram it, or just put the computer from an 05 Durango in?

The 2002 has a 16 tooth tone ring and the 05 has a 32 tooth tone ring on the crank... The 02 has a discrete PCM and TCM and the 05 has it integrated into the same unit. I'm not sure you can just swap the PCM. You'll need to most likely pull the motor and swap the tone rings.
