Default No crank, lightening bolt symbol in dash.

So after replacing my piston from my previous post "weird piston damage", I got everything together, while cleaning up my tools I dropped a ratchet and it arced across the alternator 😬.

I tried to start the truck, it won't crank and that flashing lighten bolt in dash is there.

scan says high voltage on tps A circuit.

Did I fry my TIPM?

Likely the fusible link. You don't mention what truck you have, but take a look at wires connected to the battery and see if you can find one labeled "fusible".
Possibly a wire going to the alternator is fusible also.

I was googling location of fusible links and couldn't find anything. only found info on starter relay and it appeared to be attached to TIPM.

I'll start looking for fusible links.

My truck is 2008 Ram 1500

Wow, what a complicated mess. The starting circuit is truly insane. The ignition switch gets power from fuse 22 in the TIPM, (2amp) it then sends a signal to the remote keyless entry module, (on the steering column), it sends a signal via the CAN Bus to the PCM, that you want to start the truck.... PCM suggests to the TIPM to engage the starter relay, the tipm needs to see the trans is in park, or neutral, via a sense wire from the trans...... and only then, will it engage the starter motor..... Everything in the chain has to come together for the engine to crank.... I don't think the lightning bolt is related, but, it may be.....

Well that can scare a person away. I went back at it after I got Thanksgiving iout of the way.
I did TIPM hard reset, as well as went over every connection I touched by unplugging and re-plugging back in.
I have a feeling that I might have disconnected solenoid wire while removing oil pan or yanking wiring harness out of my while doing head gasket. I unplugged solenoid wire, re-connected, truck starts and runs okay now
