Question Custome Digital Guages 2004 Ram 1500

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 that the body control modual went out and I had to replace it with a Junkyard find
I still have the original body control modual and woould like to remove the stock gauges from it and replace with custom digital gauges and would like to Know if I must retain the curcit board on back of control modual for the computer and truck to operate
My intention is to wire each guage individualy posible thru the contol panel plug

I would think that you definitely need to keep the circuit board. I'm not sure how that whole thing would work, but that's your call.

You may be right, are there any replacement gauges that can replace stock gauges in the stock cluster

Not that I am aware of. The trouble is, how the gauges get the information to display. There is no direct connection between the gauge, and whatever it is they are monitoring. All data goes thru the PCM, and the PCM tells the cluster what it should do with the gauges...... Even the gas gauge goes thru the PCM.....
