Default How to clean 5.7 intake manifold after engine failure?

I’m installing a new engine in my brothers truck (2004 1500 5.7) the old engine spun two bearings (but still
ran relatively good) but replacing the intake manifold is not an option, we’re pretty much out of funds. How would I clean this intake? I was thinking disassemble and pressure wash. Also the truck has egr but the new motor does not, will that be okay?

What's missing from the new motor for the EGR?

If it just spun a couple bearings, shouldn't be anything odd and strange in the intake. Pressure wash will likely be more than adequate to the task.

the bolt holes and the inlet hole for the egr are nowhere to be found on the new heads.

I can see how that might be a problem.

Get a tuner that allows you to exclude that particular feature.

we don’t have the funds unfortunately. What will happen if I run it without egr and no tune?

It won't run quite right, and the check engine lite will always be on.
