I would be tempted to get the MDS delete kit, and do that. Not like MDS saves you much gas...... End the problem permanently, and don't have to take a hit selling it.

At this point i think that's what I'm going to do. I tried replacing the solenoids again. The truck ran beautifully for 30 min i drove to work just fine. Then i went back and went to go home and the same damn issues came back. So at least at that point i think the lifters are good if they were running great for 30 min of driving. I just don't get how it can run the best it has ran in 3 years for 30 min and then go right back to the same issues.

Reset the PCM, let it re-learn things. See if its any better.

no luck with the pcm reset.
  1. When i got home and was just thinking things over, i decided to check the oil level and it was low. So i topped it off and ran the engine again to see if anything cleared up. Every code cleared up except for the one on 7.
  2. I was worried that it was the lifter on 7. But after this morning with the engine running smoothly, I doubt that is the problem. i think i have really bad luck with crappy new parts.

Entirely possible. The quality of the aftermarket parts has tanked in recent years.......
