Default Serpentine Belt

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, Single Cab, 5.7, with 74,000 miles. My dad bought in new in 2004 and gave it to me last year (2023). He had it regularly maintained by his local Dodge Dealer (all receipts in glove box). Only modification is straight dual exhaust (no X pipe) which was done 2005 - 2006.

The serpentine belt broke this past weekend, and had it towed back home. I ordered a replacement belt (Goodyear) from Amazon which i received the other day. I've been watching different video's on replacing the belt and just saw one regarding the tensioner pulley, plus the other 2 pulleys. SO MY QUESTION, SHOULD THESE 3 pulleys/assemble BE REPLACED OR JUST INSPECTED FOR SPIN AND NO PLAY AND INSTALL THE BELT?

Thank you in advanced for replies and insight!

Inspect, if you don't like anything at all about them, replace them. Your local parts store should have 'em on the shelf. Welcome to DF!

Personally, I regrease them whenever I happen to have the belt off.

Default Serpentine belt

I lost substantial use of my left hand 5 years ago because of spine issues and i was left handed. So all tasks take substantially longer. So i went out to the truck earlier today to remove the remains of the shredded belt, wipe everything done and started feeding the new belt. When i got to the lower pulley below the tensioner it was substantially gone. So that caused the belt to fail or the shredded belt destroyed the pulley.

I've ordered a serpentine belt kit, that includes the tensioner with pulley, plus the other two pulleys and belt. A couple of questions;
1. Is there an order to replace?
1a. Remove all items, install top down or bottom up?
2. Should i get new bolts or reuse original from20 plus years ago?
3. Should bolts be addressed with lock tite or another product?
4. Do i need to use a torque wrench for final tightening?
4b If so, how many foot pounds?
5. I've printed out some diagrams on where to start with belt, but it looks like i may have to get under truck to loop large bottom pulley and adjacent small pulley - ANY THOUGHTS OR SUGGESTIONS

Again thanks you in advanced for all suggestions / replies
