Quick learn is non-negotiable. If you don't do one you will likely negate all that work you're going to do. Quick learn resets and forces the trans portion of the PCM to learn the clutch value index (CVI) for the new trans. Once it learns this for a trans, it bases the shifts on your driivng habits and the clutch values. Allowing to shift operating on the old values can screw up your fresh trans (not that it would take much, the RFE is crap).
So you're asking for a super cheap option for dealer level software LMAO? Whatever it is, it won't be more expensive than another broken transmission. Just take it to a dealer or trans shop, it'll cost you an hour's labor.
I founded this Foxwell nt501 elite scanner from a Jeep forum. And they said there that it can handle the tranny learning. Maybe i try it because we dont really have much options for shops with Chrysler scanners up here. Nearest i have found is in Espoo, Finland and its almost 700km from my home
