Default Gasoline smell only during hard acceleration

During hard acceleration in my 2008 Ram 1500 with a 5.7, I can smell raw gas coming in the windows or through the HVAC vents. I have noticed once or twice when I’ve started the truck with the remote start while standing in front of it. It’s strong, like when you are fueling up at the gas pump.

I can’t find evidence of a leak under the hood or elsewhere on the truck. I don’t have a shudder, stumble or uneven idle. No CEL or other lights. It does it regardless of the fuel tanks level.

I replaced the fuel pump back in January after it stopped working. The truck starts and runs better after the pump was changed but, I don’t see how replacing the pump would cause the gasoline smell.

Anyone in the forum run into the same thing?
Thanks

I have the same thing happening and only seems to happen after a decent acceleration and then stop.

I have been noticing this on my 2002 4.7 for a few months now.

I have traced hoses and tried to increase rpm while watching/smelling under the hood and cant seem to trace it down.

Bought a new gas cap just in case it was burping from there and somehow drawing it back under the bed cab in some way.

Nothing to be seen on the fuel rail/injector area.
