Passenger side front Wheel speed sensor
2004 1500 SLT QC 5.7L, recently purchased, CE indicated speed sensor issues. ABS and brake light on. No speedometer. R&R'd differential speed sensor and got speedometer back. Still have brake and abs lights on, as well as the ce light calling out the speed sensor. Checking up front I found a connector tied up out of the way. R&R'd the speed sensor for that hub (passenger side), during that process I discovered the connector that had been tied up out of the way actually belonged to the old sensor and here is where my dilemma begins... there is no place to connect the new sensor to. I looked it up in the service manual and it appears to come down the wheel well from under wire harness located under the antenna area, but it just isn't there. not sure what the best course of action is at this point. just run a new pair of wires or trace 'em.? JC-07
It says "4 WHEEL DISC RR ANTI-LOCK BRAKES" so just the rear wheels. The hub that's in it looks to be a 4-wheel drive hub, it has splines in the center for an axal.
I'm finishing up on rebuilding the hvac box tonight. Once I get it all back together and let it cycle a few times i will get back here with the current DCP,S on a new thread.
you smashed this one. Thank you very much for your expertise. I have only had this pick-up a month and it has kept me busy.
