Default Running Lights not working

I have a 02 Quad Cab Ram. The tail running lights are no longer working. Both are out. Brake, reverse, and turn signal lights work except the running lights. I have checked the fuses and they are fine (I noticed that there is a fuse for each tail light). The filaments in both bulbs are in perfect condition. Everything seems to be plugged in. I've even tried taking the light bulb from the brake lights and testing it in the running lights and it didn't work. I haven't touched or modified anything dealing with the light system. All I did was wash my truck. Any ideas on would be great!

thanks!

Sorry I can't help, but that's weird. You say the turn signals work but the running lights do not. Those both run through the same filament in the bulb, so you can reasonable conclude that it is not the bulb (which you alread knew). Now you say both fuses for the taillights are good, so there shouldn't be a problem with current flow. "I think" that the next logical place to look would be the switch in the dash. I'm not an electrician by any means, I'm just trying to use the powers of reasonable deduction to work backwards to find the problem. I would think that if the problem is from the switch back that only one side would be affected not both. Anyway it's food for thought. I hope I didn't confuse you anymore than you already are.

Not a bad idea. When I first bought the truck, the windshield leaked! It wouldn't surprise me that the switch could be a little corroded.

Thanks for the tip!

NEW UPDATE!

Ok, looks like the switch is fine so far.

I have also noticed that my horn no longer works.

Here are my problems:
-All running lights do not work but when pushing the brakes or turning the turn signal, they do. ( I got pulled over last night )
- Pushing the horn = no sound

Here's what I tried.
- Replaced the parking lamp fuse (it was still good).
- Flipped the starter relay with the parking lamp relay (their identical). Same thing happened.
- Check to make sure everything is still plugged in. Still is.
- Checked horn fuse, looks good

I'm not sure what the heck is going on yet. Could their be a possible short somewhere?

Took the truck to the Dodge dealership. They ended up replacing the printed circuit board under the fuse panel. The part alone was 300 bucks! They think some soldering broke apart. Weird huh?!?!
