I have a 2005 Ram1500 v8 2wd and I've been having this issue with it it's something I've never dealt with in any of my ram trucks. So it has power battery is in great condition everything works inside and out the only thing is it won't turn over at all and what's weird on the shifter on the P it doesn't show the square indicating what gear it's on and once that's square pops up that's when the fuel pump kicks in and decides to start can anyone help me on how to solve the problem thanks much appreciated

 

Next time it does that, put the trans in neutral, see if it will start.

Sounds like the trans range sensor is failing.
