Cool 2004 Ram 1500

I have a weird issue with the blower motor. I can have it on and works fine then while driving down the road it will stop or slow down.
One time I got it to work by just turning it off then back on. Today no such luck.
Could it be the switch or maybe the motor or resistor for the motor???
Anyone ever had this issue?

I would imagine the blower motor is having issues. I went a year or so where I could kick the motor and it would go again until it finally quit.

Start with the resistor. 75% of them time it’s that. When it goes out the fan will start doing all sorts of weird things

Very POOR design 2003 Ram supplies the blower motor power directly through the ignition switch without a relay - STUPID at the best of times
Check the switch inside the steering column
Suggest you turn the blower off every time before starting not to damage a new switch
