Default 2002 dodge ram 1500 with 5.9 dies when put it gear.

i’ve got a 2002 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9 v8. I have replaced the tps and iac as well as the coil. i have tested the pickup coil the crankshaft sensor and yet it continues to die when you go from park to reverse or to any forward gear. i’m not sure if the map sensor is bad from what i can tell on my snap on verus scanner it is getting readings. the catalytic converter is gone as well as the downstream o2 sensor but i’ve been told it shouldn’t affect when my truck goes into gear. i have smoked the block didn’t find any leaks in the plenum gasket or otherwise. i have fixed all vacuum leaks. it’s becoming a headache. any help would be appreciated thank you!

Usually, that's a sign of a failing crank sensor..... If you can, have your scanner graph the signal from the crank sensor, then put it in gear. My guess would be the signal falls off.
