Default Persistent P0058 code: ‘05 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 4.7L

I searched but only saw info on the 5.7L Hemi. Truck passed annual emissions in July and in August it popped a P0058 code for the R/R O2 sensor. The sensor was replaced and the connector to the truck harness seems fine. Looks like it’s a wiring issue unless the 02 sensor was bad from stock. My manual gives no instruction on what I should be looking for as concerns wiring checks.

Any suggestions? I’m trying to do all this myself but at almost 64, it’s not getting any easier lol.

That is heater circuit high voltage.... Could be a heater failure, or a short in the wiring for the heater circuit. If you put a cheap O2 sensor in there, it may have failed.... Denso, or NTK are OEM suppliers.

Well, that *shouldn't* be a problem then.... Other possibilities are wiring, or PCM itself....
