Hello,

I have an 06 3500 quad cab 2wd w/ 5.9 cummins.

Im having an electrical issue that causes my hvac controls not to function and my airbag light to come on. I’ve narrowed it down to fuse 32. When ignition is on I’m not getting voltage to that fuse.

I jumped power from fuse 40 (cigar lighter) to the output side of 32 and it restores my hvac controls and turns off the airbag light

Any suggestions on how to diagnose if it’s the TIPM?

 

Fuse 32 powers the HVAC control head, but, I am not seeing anything where it has anything to do with the airbags...... You can find some wiring diagrams here, maybe you will see something I am not?
