Default 3rd Gen 1500 - 2002 Shift problem.

Hey there,

I'm pretty new on the page aswell new with owning a Dodge Ram 1500.
Absolutely love the car but i got a problem wich i can't figure out what it is.

While driving car shifts good, no problems at all. But sometimes when i wan't to park to car, and put shift in P it does not register on the dashboard.
Same problem sometimes with the R. i can feel it's in the P or the R but only the dashboard does not register it.

Anyone knows the solution ?

You local parts store should have 'em on the shelf, no idea how much, likely less than a hundred bucks though. Probably a 15 minute job to change it.
