Default transmission question/clarification.

I was going through the sticky posts and saw this..

Transmission...All transmission problems in vehicles w/50kmi or more are generally associated with DIRTY/BAD FLUID. There are TWO filters located in the transmission pan and another located on the return line of the cooler. If you are having trans. trouble, make sure you have changed or flushed your fluid at the reccomended intervals before wondering what the problem could possibly be. If you have no codes, this is likely your issue.

Is this forreal? I mean, I don't do purposely destructive driving or shift recklessly but I'm definitely hard on my transmission vs grandpa. I've had to change my transmission once after it has a tiny slip that progressed to 4/5 gears neutral. I can really just keep the fluid level correct and change it every like 75k and not have to worry about it failure? It was my understanding that the 5-45rfe is not able to keep up with the 5.7 hemi especially with a tune. I have the hemifever.

My 08 Hemi Ram with the 545RFE has been trouble free since new and now has over 135k miles on it. I have towed quite a bit with loads right at or a bit over the max tow rating. I had the trans serviced once at about 60k miles and have never had any issues with mine. If you service it close to the recommended intervals mentioned in the owners manual, it should last a long time.
BTW, mine has been tuned for 93 octane, with my Diablosport Predator, since about a month after I bought the truck new. Fluid is still nice and red.

Hell yeah. So what you replace the fluid and filter in there every like 60k? There's just the one filter in there right?
