Diesel NOX sensors are the same procedure, sometimes I think worse, you learn the feel of snug vs tight and hope they rust in fast

As for the O2 sensor, there's no room to swing any kind of tool with leverage on it at all ! After driving the truck today for about 40 minutes. It started misfiring again at light load. If I put my foot to the floor it'll pull normally no codes for misfire it starts right up. Idle smoothly drives normally for a bit. Then when I hit about 40 mph with my foot lightly on the gas, it'll start bucking
I'm going to pull the remaining ignition coils and spark plugs that I didn't touch yet and see what I find it's killing me. This truck is Cherry. It has a great frame. It drives smoother than baby s*** it's had about 15 grand put into it in the last 5 years with receipts and this is the last issue. I just don't have the resources and with no clear direction to go in. I feel like I'm just throwing s*** at the wall and I need the car because I live in the sticks so I have to drive to do anything. No public transportation where I'm at. Plus I don't know anybody in this area who's familiar with Dodge trucks to even look at it and see maybe I'm missing something that's obvious to somebody who's more familiar with them

Plugs can definitley cause erratic misfires, just went through it last winter with my 3.6L durango, plugs only had 40k on em so it didn't even cross my mind. I was beating my head against the way, no check engine light for some reason, so i didn't check codes. Had trans checked out, recently replaced the tcase with a used one so i was questioning that. just no consistency. Finally someone suggested misfire, pulled codes sure enough cylinder 5 misfire and random misfire soft codes. Pulled plugs, they had over .090" gap. New plugs gapped out, runs like a clock again.

Key part of your story is you ended up throwing a code but I hear what your saying

Pulled all the plugs. Tested the coils. All the coils came back within spec across the terminals reading .9 . Looks like I'm running a bit lean trying to figure out what would cause that I do run seafoam with every tank of gas and I'm only running regular. I'm about to do a compression check and in the meantime I've been cleaning all the grounds and going over everything obvious. Luckily none of the spark plugs were clean to indicate a possible head gasket leak if I'm thinking about that the right way

So I was doing my compression test and cylinder one. When I looked into it with the boss scope, I can see the top of the valve . Then I can hear the air leaking out of it with the compression tester on it. I'm wondering if I dropped the rocker? Could also hear air escaping when I put the compression tester on cylinder. 3. So I'm assuming it's something to do with the valve train on the driver side and I've got to pull the valve cover

4.7s love to drop valve seats if overheated, agree those plugs look super lean, would tie back to faulty upstream O2, funny both side would be that way though.

Maybe a vacuum leak from failed intake seals
