Injector loom plug
Hello all, I have a 2003 D1500 5.9, the Bunny Rabbits chewed the wires off one injector plug right down to the nub and chewed into the multi wire loom that plugs into the upper back of the throttle body, at least 4 wires in that one. I have the connector off that goes to the injector but it looks different to the after market plugs/pigtail, is there a direct match for that? and the same for the intake sensor. Anybody up for hasenpfeffer? Thanks
No such thing as a "D1500" for 2003. It would be an early to mid year 2003 1500 since it has a 5.9 gas. Which then begs the next question, that being how did rabbits get on top of your engine? It's usually some form of rodent that does this. I would pull the engine harness and see if the factory part number tag is on there. You might actually find a replacement, even if it's on eBay.

Actually, the Cottontails are a problem here, they get everywhere and they love spark plug wires, before the advent of silicon based plug wires it wasn't unusual to raise the hood and see bare wires where insulated wires used to be, now they eat the whole thing. My wife used to drive about 30 minutes to work and more than once she saw a wabbit drop down from the car when she parked and run off especially when it was wet and cold, there was always muddy bunny footprints on her car's valve cover.
Well OK we will go with 1500, you know those wascally wabbits can vewy vewy wesourful, I used to watch the documentaries every Saturday morning and you know Elmer Fudd never did win
