I didn't read all the posts for this thread, but......on my 04 ram i had to replace all 4 rotors with aftermarket. The stock rotors on the 4.7 rams were crap!!!!! also went with aftermarket high performance brake pads on the front. Just something to look into. not sure if they changed anything on the 05's.
