Hello, I have an 06 2500 5.9 diesel big horn, did not come with the steering wheel controls from the factory. Has a JVC aftermarket radio, and am looking to add the factory controls. Has anyone went about doing this without getting the truck programmed? I would like to not do programming if there is a way to work around it. Any ideas?

 

That is unfortunate. Have to have factory functional controls before you can adapt them to an aftermarket head unit. Install switches, enable with StarScan or similar, then use this: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-VoAlQw...h/pac_swi.html
There are specifications to nail down which one. You didn't mention if you have OEM Infinity system or not.
