Default This look like a flex plate crack to you?

Got a rattle when I tip into the throttle, fades with RPM, comes back a bit around 2k, then fades again. Doesn't seem to be there in park when I tip in. Pulled the inspection cover. Lots of fluid seepage too. Acceleration has been a bit poo poo, lockup feels great though. Shifts are solid, no shutter, no slip.

Personally, I see a cracked flex plate, probably a worn out stator, wallowed out seals, and perhaps a leaking rear main.

That does look a bit iffy. Considering how difficult it is to access, I'd either have it magnafluxed or just replace it.

The chatter marks on the outside of the drum look suspicious too. Looks like some debris got tossed around, or the converter was able to move enough to rub on the bellhousing. I see some marks on the backside (engine side) of the ring gear in these pictures that looks like the teeth have rubbed on something too.
