Got P1756 check engine code.... Bad govenor pressure solinoid and sensor(transducer)

Any replace there gov solinoid and transducer and were good to go? How many miles on ypur trans

Here is a BD kit this kit from Genos garage? dont know if its quality parts or BD gimmick

Good chance the kit will fix it. I question the need for the little electronics box though, whose only purpose is to 'prevent overpressure codes'..... Curious who they do that, and why you WOULDN'T want to know that is happening...... I'd be real tempted to skip the little box, but install the rest of it.

 

I didnt by the BD kit from genos, bought the parts separate from a trans supply place , Borg-Warner 50185 Solenoid upgrade and a Rostra Governor Sensor(transducer) , total was $105 compared to $250 from Genos. I didnt want that genos BD transducr with the extra adapter plug either
