I'm looking for a diagnostic scanner that will perform adaptive resets on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L. I've looked into finding a used drb3, but not willing to drop 2k on a tool that I can only use on a truck that I bought for 1k . I'm trying to keep it in the $500 or less range... unless the tool would also be compatible with a range of other vehicles. I did buy (and returned) a ThinkScan tool for about $350 that would read/clear codes and do some basic actuations on my truck, but wouldn't reset any of the adaptives and most of the modules were "not available" on this vehicle. If anyone has any suggestions on a decent diagnostic tool that will work on this truck (drb3 compatible), I'm open to any suggestions because even Google is stumped. Thanks!!!
