Does anyone know, where to purchase an engine wiring harness, for a 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup, 4 x 4, with 5.7 Hemi engine? The VIN: 107HU18093J627675, and the p/n for the harness is 56000945AC. This harness, was only used from 2003, to 2005, and it’s unobtainable. I’m the original owner, and it has 44K miles on it.

I, have already contacted American Autowire, Evans Wiring, Ron Francis, and Swap Specialties. Swap Specialties wants the original harness, and the cost is $1200.00, however, they have many complaints, and a F rating.

I, have repaired it; but, a wire that was close to a connector, broke as soon as I moved the harness when it was reinstalled in the truck. The pin in the connector, needs to be removed, and new wire attached to it. I, have three other short wires, that are close to a connector. They seem to be OK.

 

Used market is pretty much your only choice. Either that, or get the tools, de-pin the short wires, and add new. Tools are likely fairly inexpensive.....

I needed a tranny harness for my '04 Cummins, literally spent 2 days calling dealers & suppliers - nothing.
Posted it, and within minutes there were a dozen available at wrecking yards; $400, and they had a perfectly good one to me in Nevada from Connecticut in 2 days.

 

I Have a complete 04 I am parting out, wiring harness in good shape, Ill review and send pictures tomorrow if the part number matches
