Default Hemi tick

2008 ram 2500 72,500 miles. Non MDS
Slight tick started getting worse bought a comp cams 216 220 @.050 538 561 wanted low end towing. Mopar made in USA lifters and a high volume oil pump. Added a set of shorty headers. Installed everything old cam and lifters looked good.
Started up noticed right off slightly higher oil pressure and deeper exhaust tone but tick is still there. Sounds like coming from the passenger side front so I pulled valve cover and double checked rockers and shafts. Looked at push rods carefully all look good.
I'm at a loss not sure what to look for now. Any one else have similar issues?
Where do I look from here.

UPDATE
(with everything new)
I figured that I get longer push rods and ran across a blog where someone was building basically my motor and he was confused of which push rods to use. Evidently Comp Cam's grinds their base circle slightly smaller than the 2008 5.7 s so with this cam you use the 6.1 hemi push rods that are .050 longer. Makes sense. I have them on order

Well, this is a different truck and engine. I have a Dodge Dakota with a 4.7. It had the tick of all ticks I replaced lifters and pulled the valve covers a few more times, till I figured out that timing chain guides and tensioners were shot to hell. Your truck has low miles though so the possibility is lesser. Mine has 350,000 miles on it, so big difference but I came to the conclusion that they were bad by using a Mechanic's stethoscope that I bought from Harbor freight and just probing around till I figured out the sound had to be coming from under the timing cover. Just giving you ideas.

Thanks for the response.
I checked the slack adjuster while installing cam. The guides looked good and the spring tension felt good.
I'm going to put it back together tomorrow and will change the oil to 5w 30 and if still have the tick I'll try to isolate the tick. I've got a stethoscope in one of the tool boxes I haven't used in years.... Somewhere
Thanks again.

Have you tried running a short time with the belt removed?

Always the possibility one of the new lifters is stuck, I'm not sure protocol for these lifters but did you soak them before installing, its a habit I've always done

I thought these had a "dumb" oil pressure sensor so higher or lower on the gauge really doesn't mean anything?

I haven't removed belt yet, after I get it back together I'll try that.
Yes I soaked the lifter's overnight in the same oil as I used in the engine. I also used a engine assembly grease on lifters when assembling. The oil pressure gauge registered a bit higher than before the teardown.
I installed a high volume oil pump which I verified by measuring the pumps rotors thickness.
I'll put it back together tomorrow and check with the belt off (good idea) and re-torque the new headers.
Thanks for the reply.
